Healing Through Voice

A Journey to Free Your Voice, Unblock Your Throat, and Release What’s Been Holding You Back

Enrollment is now open for the Healing Through Voice Winter 2026 Cohort, beginning February 14.
This is the only deep-dive healing program offered this season.

Space is intentionally limited to create safety, intimacy, and depth.
Join us and begin the year with clarity, confidence, and your true voice

A 6-week somatic voice healing experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, soften fear, open your throat, and free the sound that has been stuck inside you.

Through grounding practices, intuitive movement, nervous-system work, gentle expression, and guided vocal exploration, you’ll reclaim the voice your body has been protecting.

Do You feel Like...

Your voice feels blocked, tight, small, or stuck in your throat?

You shut down or freeze when someone listens?

You feel emotion rising when you speak or sing, but it gets trapped instead of released?

Your body collapses or goes rigid when you try to express yourself?

You’ve trained technique, but something deeper still feels locked?

You’re tired of overthinking your voice instead of feeling it?

You know there’s more inside you, but fear keeps your real voice hidden?

You long for a space where your voice can unfold gently, safely, at its own pace?

Imagine Instead...

Your throat softening, opening, and releasing sound with ease

Singing or speaking without bracing for judgment or pressure

Feeling emotionally clear, grounded, and centered before expressing yourself

Letting your voice come from your whole body

Being heard without shrinking, apologizing, or performing

Allowing emotion to flow through your sound, not get stuck in it

Feeling supported by a community that understands sensitivity, fear, and healing

Finding joy again in the simple act of making sound

Your Six Week Journey

Week 1: Coming Home to Your Body & Voice
We begin by slowing down.
You reconnect with your breath, body, and the felt-sense of your voice without performing or producing anything.
You’ll learn grounding tools that calm the nervous system and create safety inside your throat, chest, and ribs.
This week gently opens the door to the voice that has been waiting underneath fear and tension.

Week 2: Throat Unblocking & Releasing Protective Patterns
Your body protects your voice when it senses threat.
This week explores the physical and emotional patterns that cause tightening and shutdown.
Through somatic release work, gentle movement, and supported sounding, you’ll begin to unwind the habits your voice developed to stay safe and make room for the real sound underneath.

Week 3: Allowing Emotion to Move Through Your Voice
Voices often get blocked because emotion has nowhere to go.
This week helps you create pathways for emotional flow so your voice doesn’t hold everything in the throat.
You’ll explore resonance that emerges from emotional honesty and learn how to stay present without collapsing or overriding your feelings.

Week 4: Rebuilding Trust in Your Expression
Now that your body and throat have begun to soften, we rebuild trust.
This week focuses on expressing yourself in small, supported ways: speaking, humming, phrases, or simple sounds.
You learn how to stay regulated while being witnessed, so your voice can express instead of react.

Week 5: Visibility, Boundaries & Authentic Voice
This week helps you explore your authentic sound and how to stay grounded when you’re seen or heard.
You’ll practice sharing your voice with clear boundaries, so you never override your body’s signals.
This is where your voice begins to feel like a choice instead of a threat.

Week 6: Integration, Ritual & Voice Emergence
Your final week brings everything together.
You’ll explore how your voice feels now that fear, tension, and emotional holding have softened.
We close with a gentle ritual: a simple recording, a spoken piece, or a sound that marks your growth.
You’ll leave with an embodied understanding of your own voice and a clear path for continuing your healing beyond the program.

What's Included in the Healing Through Voice Program?
    You’ll Receive:

*Six Weekly 1.5-Hour Somatic Voice Healing Sessions: Each week, we gather for a deep, guided container to explore grounding, breath, throat release, emotional flow, supported expression, and nervous-system safety.
These sessions are structured to help your voice open gradually and steadily.

*Access to One Weekly Class (Yoga or Group Voice)

    * You’ll choose either Intuitive Body + Voice Yoga or Group Voice Class to attend each week as part of your program: This gives you six additional classes to reinforce your healing with movement, breath, and group practice.

*Personalized Somatic Voice Guidance: Individualized insight into your specific tension patterns, emotional blocks, vocal habits, and emerging strengths.

*Weekly Audio Check-Ins (Optional): Each week, you’ll have the option to record a 10–30 second sound moment, such as:

    - a simple hum

    - a spoken reflection

    - an exhale with voice

    - a phrase or tone that felt new

    - a “before and after” note

*Somatic Tools You Can Return to Anytime: You’ll learn grounding, breath, regulation, and throat-opening practices you can use whenever your voice feels tight, scared, overwhelmed, or small.

*A Small, Safe, Supportive Community: This is an intimate group (not a big class): Everyone is here for healing, not performance. You’ll be witnessed with compassion and encouraged at a pace that feels right for your body.

*Integration Support: Each week includes simple, optional prompts or grounding exercises to help your voice settle into its new patterns.

    Your body leads.
Your voice opens when your system feels ready, and that readiness is honored every step of the way.

Who is Dev?

353054250_10161001504662495_2937624871221323882_n.jpg

Hi, I'm Dev.

I specialize in helping people whose voices have learned to stay small, people who tighten, freeze, collapse, or go silent when they try to sing or speak.

With over nine years of experience as a vocal coach and somatic practitioner, I understand the deeper patterns that shape a voice: the fear responses, the throat tension, the emotional guarding, and the nervous-system states that override expression.

I’m trained in somatic voicework, yoga, somatic movement, breathwork, and meditative practices.
This combination allows me to meet you where you are physically, emotionally, creatively.

My work is about reconnecting you with the voice your body has been protecting, and giving you the tools to release tension and express yourself in ways that feel grounded, authentic, and deeply satisfying.

My Credentials:

Vocal teacher and coach for over 8 years helping hundreds of students find confidence, expression, and authentic sound

Author of How to Be Average, a creative mindset book for breaking free from perfectionism and embracing authenticity

Creator of the Creative Liberation Cycle, a somatic framework that integrates mind, body, and creativity

Completed Levels I, II, and III of Somatic Voicework (TM) the Lovetri Method

Certified in multiple modalities including 200-hr Yoga, Buti Movement, ACE Group Fitness, Vocal Pedagogy, Music Therapy, Therapeutic Art Life Coaching, and Self-Healing Life

If you’re ready to stop holding back and finally let your true voice come forward, I would be honored to guide you.

Your voice carries your emotions, your history, your boundaries, your joy, your truth.
When you learn how to soften the patterns that silence you, everything shifts: your sound opens, your confidence grows, and you begin to trust yourself again.

This program is a space where you don’t have to perform or push.

You get to arrive exactly as you are and discover who you can become when your voice is allowed to exist without pressure.

Daily struggles had kept me stuck in a vicious cycle of 'shoulds' that made creativity a distant dream. Dev helped me stop the shame and self blame game that had me stifled.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the program?
Healing Through Voice runs for 6 weeks, from February 14 – March 21, 2026.

Each week includes a 1.5-hour somatic voice session on Saturdays (1:00–2:30pm) plus one weekly class (your choice of Intuitive Yoga or Group Voice).

Where does it take place?
All sessions are held in person at Fiercely Vocal Studio in Lafayette, CO.
If you’re traveling or need remote access, you can join the weekly session on Zoom.

Do I need to be a singer?
No.
This cohort is built for anyone whose voice feels tight, blocked, small, or disconnected for singing, speaking, teaching, or wanting to feel more confident expressing yourself.
No singing experience required.

What if I get nervous being heard by others?
You’re in the right place.
This program is designed exactly for people who freeze, tighten, or collapse when someone listens.
You’ll learn grounding and nervous-system tools that create safety so your voice can open gently, without pressure.

What if I can’t make every session?
If you miss a Saturday session, you’ll receive a Zoom replay (if the session was online) and a written recap/grounding prompt to stay connected.
You can also still attend your weekly class that week.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes.
You can join for $597 or choose a two-payment plan ($315 x 2).
If you’d like the payment plan, just email me.

Is this therapy?
No. This is not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
It is, however, trauma-aware, body-based voicework rooted in nervous-system regulation, expression, and healing-centered creativity.

How big is the group?
Small.
I keep the program intentionally intimate so everyone feels safe, supported, and seen.

What makes this different from traditional voice lessons?
This isn't a voice lesson. Voice lessons focus on getting a better singing or speaking voice.
This program works at the level where your voice (physically, metaphorically, creatively) actually gets stuck your body, your nervous system, your emotions, your patterns of protection.
When those shift, your voice naturally opens.
