What is Fiercely Vocal Studio?

Fiercely Vocal Studio, run by Devyn Price,  is a body-based voice studio that helps people connect their body, mind, and voice. It’s mostly for singers who want to feel confident and expressive in their sound, but it also supports speakers who want to use their voices without strain and creatives who want to unlock their authentic expression. Every session blends movement, breath, and sound to help you feel grounded, open, and free.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults and teens who want to feel more confident and embodied in how they use their voices. I also help speakers strengthen their voices without strain and guide creatives who want to reconnect with their authentic creative voice.

Do you work with children?

I primarily work with teens and adults, ages 12 and up. My regular lessons and programs are designed for this age range. I occasionally offer workshops and camps for kids during the summer that focus on creative exploration, confidence, and healthy voice use.

What makes your approach different from other voice teachers?

My work is rooted in the connection between body, mind, and sound. We use movement, grounding, and somatic awareness to release tension and open your natural voice. Singing becomes a full-body experience, not just something that happens in your throat. I approach lessons with kindness and an intent to understand the student and what THEY want, not what I think they should want based on outdated pedagogy.

What styles of singing do you teach?

Rock, pop, musical theatre, and singer-songwriter styles. The goal is to help you sound and feel like yourself. I also teach healthy approaches to distorted sounds and controlled screaming used in heavy rock and metal styles. We work safely through breath, body connection, and support so your voice stays strong and pain-free.

Do you only teach singing?

No. While most of my work centers on singing, I also help speakers, performers, and creatives connect to their voices through breath, body awareness, and expression. Many clients come for public speaking, confidence building, or creative voice work that goes beyond traditional singing lessons.

Can I take lessons online?

Yes. In-person and online sessions are both available. I have successful experience teaching online lessons. You’ll still learn body awareness techniques even through Zoom.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Canceling within 24 hours could result in a lost non-refundable lesson or class.

Payment is made onyline when you book.  Payment at the door may be fine if you give me prior notice.

Somatic movement means using the body to build awareness, release tension, and reconnect your nervous system. It can be gentle and grounding or powerful and high-energy. The goal is to get out of your head and into your body so your voice can move freely and naturally.
